How To Get Started Scuba Diving
There are a few different ways to get scuba certified. The first way is to take a scuba diving course at a local pool close to where you live. Generally this will consist of a small group of people and a scuba instructor. He will teach you different techniques such as how to clear your mask, how to clear your ears, different hand signals to communicate under water, how to assemble and maintain your scuba gear, and of course the dangers of scuba diving.
Another way to get certified is by going on vacation to an area that offers a scuba diving course. An example of this would be the Caribbean islands. The certification would take probably close to a week so keep that in mind.
The third way to get certified is by taking scuba diving lessons at a resort. This option is a super fast way to get your scuba diving certification. Most resorts will make sure that you are certified in about 1-3 days, depending on the resort. However, it is important to understand that when you get certified this quickly, you will have very little training in emergency type scenarios. Things may jumble in your mind because it is a lot for your brain to remember. It is probably better to take a scuba diving course if at all possible.
